To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will give the average domestic rate bill payable per household for 1988–89 in each local authority area in Scotland.

The table shows estimates of the average domestic rate bill in each local authority area in 1988–89 calculated using the latest data available. The figures do not reflect the rate reduction of 5·6p proposed for Lothian regional council:
