To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what percentage of Army equipment is currently produced through European collaboration.
Mr. Sainsbury
Provision made in the Supply Estimates for 1988–89 for Army equipment being procured through collaborative projects involving our European allies amounts to 7 per cent. of the Army equipment budget.
