To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what representations he has received from the New Zealand Government, the National Maori Council, Survival International, and any other organisations or individuals about the proposed sale of a Maori warrior's head at a London auction house on Friday 20 May; what response he has made and if he will make a statement.

We have received representations from Survival International and the Maori Council of New Zealand. These are being studied in the light of the litigation at present under way.
