To ask the Secretary of State for Employment what was the total cost of the operation which led to the identification of Glasgow taxi drivers who were illegally claiming benefit.

The total cost to my Department for the Glasgow taxi drivers exercise was £4,328.

To ask the Secretary of State for Employment what means of electronic surveillance was used in Glasgow as part of the operation mounted to detect taxi drivers illegally claiming benefits.
