Mr. Devlin
To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry what representations he has received about regional infrastructure investment.
Mr. Douglas Hogg
My right hon. Friend and I are well aware of the concern in the regions about the quality of regional infrastructure, particularly in relation to transport links with the single market and the Channel tunnel. These are matters on which we make our views known to my right hon. Friend, the Secretary of State for Transport, and colleagues at the Department of Transport.
