British Summer Time

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many representations he has received concerning the implementation of British summer time throughout the year; and if he will make a statement.

Following the publication in June of the Green Paper "Summer Time—A Consultation Document" (Cm. 722) a total of 30,797 representations have been received to date. We hope to have completed an assessment of them in the near future.
