To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will take steps to reduce the import and export of toxic waste.

The Environmental Protection Bill contains provisions to restrict or prohibit the import or export of any type of waste into or out of the United Kingdom, in order to prevent risk of harm to the environment or human health, or to conserve disposal resources.
