To ask the Secretary of State for Health if he will obtain a copy of the proceedings of the annual conference of "Help the Hospices" regarding current funding for his departmental library.

To ask the Secretary of State for Health what funding his Department gives to the Nottingham hospice of 384 Woodborough road, Nottingham NG3 4JF.

None. I understand that the project is funded by a trust and a contribution from local finance.

To ask the Secretary of State for Health what plans he has to bring funding arrangements for hospices in England into line with those in Scotland.

I refer the hon. Member to the reply I gave my hon. Friend the Member for Banbury (Mr. Baldry) on 15 December at columns 846–47.

To ask the Secretary of State for Health what representations he has had from (a) the Nottingham hospice and (b) the Nottingham district health authority regarding the funding of the hospice; and if he will make a statement.

We have received no representations from the Nottingham hospice and the district health authority regarding funding of the hospice. I understand that the health authority provides some 25 hospice beds and has given the Nottinghamshire hospice some funds until April 1990.
