To ask the Secretary of State for Defence on how many occasions have security classified documents been lost or mislaid in each of the last 10 years by classification.

Records are not held of the number of classified documents lost or mislaid.

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what review has been undertaken of his Department's filing system arising from the loss and rediscovery of documents.

Filing systems and other procedures are reviewed as part of the investigations which follow the reported loss of classified documents.
