Citizens Advice Bureaux

To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry what have been the Government's contributions to the citizens advice bureaux in each of the past five years.

My Department does not fund individual citizens advice bureaux. However, my Department funds the National Association of Citizens Advice Bureaux (NACAB) which covers bureaux in England and Wales and Citizens Advice Scotland (CAS). Total grant-in-aid paid by my Department to NACAB and CAS during the last five years is as follows:
