To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will list the dangerous chemicals and substances currently on his Department's red list.

The following dangerous substances are currently on the red list:

  • DDT
  • Pentachlorophenol
  • Hexachlorobenzene
  • Hexachlorobutadiene
  • Aldrin
  • Dieldrin
  • Endrin
  • Polychlorinated Biphenyls
  • Dichlorvos
  • 1, 2-Dichloroethane
  • Trichlorobenzene
  • Atrazine
  • Simazine
  • Tributyltin compounds
  • Triphenyltin compounds
  • Trifluralin
  • Fenitrothion
  • Azinphos-methyl
  • Malathion
  • Endosulfan
