To ask the Secretary of State for Health if he intends to extend his policy governing practitioners of hypnosis to practitioners of subliminal techniques; and if he will make a statement.

Hypnosis is subject to legislation only when used for entertainment purposes. We have no plans to seek to control the therapeutic use of hypnotism or similar techniques.
