To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he will give details of the number of arms, explosives and other equipment captured by the security forces since 1 January.

[holding answer 10 May 1990]: During the first quarter of 1990 a total of 63 firearms and 3,388 lbs of explosives were found by the police and Army. Other finds included 7,038 rounds of ammunition, 66 detonators, seven rocket/mortar launchers and seven rocket/rounds.
