To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland what steps the National Radiological Protection Board and nuclear installations inspectorate took to locate and recover the lost caesium at Dounreay seven months ago; and if he will make a statement.

The Health and Safety Executive's nuclear installations inspectorate is satisfied that the United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority has conducted a thorough search for the sealed source and has taken all reasonable steps to protect and inform both its employees and members of the public.
