Assisted Places

To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Science what is the total number of schools that now participate in the assisted places schemes; and how many places they currently offer between them.

There are now 294 participating schools in England offering some 33,366 assisted places. Of these schools, 16 will be offering places for the first time from this September.
