To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Science if he will make a statement on the findings of the Ball report on access to higher education, a copy of which has been sent to his Department.

To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Science if he has received a copy of the RSA report entitled "More Means Different"; and if he will make a statement.

I regard "More Means Different", the report of the RSA/Industry Matters higher education project directed by Sir Christopher Ball, as a valuable contribution to the current debate about future arrangements for higher education. It provides much for the Government and others to take into account in reviewing policies and practices.
