To ask the Secretary of State for Wales if he will introduce legislation in order to enable the Wales tourist board to market Wales overseas.

Following consideration of the report by the Select Committee on Welsh Affairs in 1987, improved working arrangements were established as between the British Tourist Authority, the Wales tourist board and the trade, for promoting Wales in overseas tourism markets. We have no plans to introduce new legislation.
