To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what is the longest and shortest length of time between a male fiancé applying for a visa in Bombay and receiving an interview over the last six months; and what is the average length of time such an applicant has to wait.

The average waiting time to interview for all fiancé(e)s applying for entry clearance at the deputy high commission in Bombay throughout the last six months has been nine months. The information requested on the longest and shortest waiting time is not readily available and could be provided only at disproportionate cost.
