To ask the Secretary of State for Employment if he will list the annual publicity-promotional budget allocated to his Department's wages inspectorate for each year since 1979.

The cost of publicity and promotional activities undertaken by the wages inspectorate is not distinguishable from general running costs.

To ask the Secretary of State for Employment if he will list the number of people employed by his Department's wages inspectorate in the north-west region for each year since 1979.
