I expect energy and environment issues to feature regularly at future meetings of the Energy Council. Community Energy Ministers will be meeting informally in Rome next month.

To ask the Secretary of State for Energy when he next expects to attend a meeting of the European Community Council of Energy Ministers.
The next meeting of the European Communities Council of Energy Ministers is due to take place on 29 October 1990. The United Kingdom representation at this Council will be decided on nearer the time. In addition, Energy Ministers of member states will meet informally in Rome on 16 July.
