To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will make a statement on his reponse to the findings of recent scientific research on the specific impact of human activity on climatic changes.

The Prime Minister set out the Government's response to the report on the science of climate change produced by working group I of the Inter-Governmental Panel on Climate Change in her speech on 25 May 1990 at the opening of the Hadley centre for climate prediction and research.
