To ask the Secretary of State for Defence whether he has received any representations from allies in the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation favouring the cancellation of the deployment of the tactical air-tosurface missile and Tomahawk missiles on British soil.

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence how many representations he has received concerning the deployment of the tactical air-to-surface missile and Tomahawk missiles in the United Kingdom; and how many have been opposed to the deployment.

In the last year we have received about 20 letters from right hon. and hon. Members and members of the public concerning the deployment of United States TASM and Tomahawk missiles to the United Kingdom. Most of these letters have been related to CND propaganda campaigns opposing, among other things, the possible deployment of TASM to the United Kingdom.
