To ask the Secretary of State for Wales how much money has been allocated in the current financial year by his Department to support the implementation of the all-Wales strategy on mental illness (a) to each local authority in Wales, (b) to voluntary organisations in each local authority area and (c) to voluntary organisations in Wales as a whole.

Provisional allocations have been made in respect of proposals put forward by each of the eight county joint planning teams as follows:

In many cases where a proposal involves participation by more than one agency, it has yet to be established how the funding will be apportioned. Some £96,000 has been allocated to the voluntary sector in respect of services being provided on an all-Wales basis.
