To ask the Secretary of State for Employment (1) what assessment he has made of the financial contribution of employers in 1990–91 to the training of young people with special needs;(2) what assessment he has made of employer contributions to youth training since the renegotiation of training contracts; and if he will make a statement.

I refer the hon. Member to the answer that I gave on 2 July at column 472.

To ask the Secretary of State for Employment if he has any plans for an autumn advertising campaign on training.

Discussions are continuing within the Department on publicity matters, but no decisions have been taken on an autumn training campaign.
