To ask the Secretary of State for Employment if he will make a statement on his Department's policy towards the payment in arrears of voluntary sector training providers of youth training.

Voluntary sector providers make an important contribution to youth training. The level and timing of funding is a matter for negotiation between training providers and Training Agency area offices or training and enterprise councils.
