To ask the Secretary of State for Social Security if he will list (a) the titles of guidance and procedural manuals produced for his Department's offices which are not available to the public and (b) in each case, the reason for them not being available publicly.
The table shows the titles of Departmental guidance and procedural manuals which are not available to the public. They contain administrative and procedural instructions for staff which would be of little value to the general public, and also prescribe checks and controls which must remain confidential.
