To ask the Secretary of State for Defence to which Governments and forces in south-east Asia military training assistance has been supplied by Her Majesty's Government over the past 12 months.

In the 12 months to 1 October 1990, the following countries in south-east Asia have received assistance in the form of military training courses in the United Kingdom or training from British service personnel overseas:

  • Brunei
  • Indonesia
  • Malaysia
  • Philippines
  • Singapore
  • Thailand
Details about training provided are generally confidential between Her Majesty's Government and the Government concerned.
