To ask the Minister for the Civil Service if he will list (a) those Departments offering above the adult minimum starting salaries to executive officer recruits, (b) the numbers involved in each Department, (c) the spine point that is offered in each case and (d) whether in (i) London and the south-east or (ii) elsewhere.

The required information is not held centrally and could be provided only at disproportionate cost.
