To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will publish in the Official Report a list of the unemployment figures, at the latest available date, for each Scottish county.

The level and rate of unemployment in each of the Scottish regions as of August 1990 is given in the table. Overall unemployment in Scotland has fallen by over 135,000 in the past three years.
