To ask the Secretary of State for Social Security if he will detail options currently under consideration by his Department in relation to the site, catchment area and projected opening date of the planned Glasgow, Pollok local office; and if he will make a statement.

The new Glasgow (Pollok) office would cover the present catchment areas of the offices in Muirhouse street and Paisley road west. The opening date of the new office will depend on the site chosen and the availability of funds. Meanwhile, a plan covering service proposals is being drawn up, which will be subject to local consultation.
