To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland when he last met shop stewards from the Ravenscraig strip mill and Dalzell plate mill to discuss the future of the mills.

My right hon. and learned Friend met representatives of the Ravenscraig unions, covering the strip mill, on 10 October. I met representatives of the Dalzell trade unions on 15 October.
