To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will publish a table showing for each local authority for 1990–91 the income received from (a) poll tax, (b) national non-domestic rates and (c) Government grant.

I am arranging for copies of the information to be placed in the Library of the House.

To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will publish a table showing the total income to local authorities from (a) domestic rates and (b) non-domestic rates in each of the financial years 1979–80 to 1989–90, respectively.
