To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland what progress is being made towards the provision of an additional intensive therapy unit facility and additional operating theatre at the Foresterhill hospital's unit in Aberdeen.

[holding answer 18 January 1991]: Grampian health board is currently progressing a scheme to replace its existing theatres and intensive therapy facilities with a modern seven-theatre complex at Foresterhill.
