To ask the Secretary of State for Social Security what plans he has to revise social fund loan arrangements in order to reduce the amount of staff time committed to calculating repayment schedules.
Mr. Scott
There are no plans to revise social fund loan arrangements at present. The microcomputer system was recently enhanced to provide more assistance to staff in the calculation of repayment terms.
