To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he will provide an estimate for the total Government expenditure on the upkeep, care and protection of historic buildings and monuments in Northern Ireland in 1990–91 and 1991–92.
Mr. Needham
Estimated expenditure for 1990–91 is £4,664,000 and for 1991–92 is £5,028,000.
