To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what steps he is taking to assist small livestock farmers in the south-west who are in difficulties.

All livestock farms, including those family farms, in the south-west to which my hon. Friend refers, benefit from a wide range of Government support measures which are forecast to cost some £815 million in 1990–91.
