To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will list (a) the number of Youth Training places in his Department and (b) the number of places occupied in May for each of the years 1989, 1990 and the current year.
Mr. Heseltine
My Department has one Youth Training scheme in operation at present. It is in Bristol and is run in conjunction with the Department of Transport. The information requested in respect of my Department's places is as follows:
