To ask the Secretary of State for Health if he will list the official statements made by the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, the hon. Member for Loughborough (Mr. Dorrell), on and since 16 June, relating to the position of non-haemophiliacs who found themselves carrying the HIV virus as a result of infected transfusions; and if he will make a statement.

I have made no official statements in the House about non-haemophiliacs infected from the HIV virus as a result of blood transfusions since 16 June 1991. I have given several interviews to the media in which I have confirmed the Government's view that it would be inappropriate to make exceptional provision for the blood transfusion cases.
