Nuclear Facilities (Iraq)

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence if he will make a statement about the nuclear activities conducted by Iraq at (a) the Fallujah facility near Baghdad, (b) the Tarmiyah plant, (c) the Abu Ghurayb military base and (d) the underground complex near Mosul.

All nuclear activity conducted by Iraq at these and other sites is currently under investigation by the UN Special Commission and the International Atomic Energy Authority which report directly to the UN Secretary General. The UN has released a consolidated report of the first two inspections of Iraqi nuclear facilities and copies of this have been placed in the Library of the House.
