To ask the Secretary of State for Employment what is the menu which comprises the ET guarantee.
Mr. Jackson
The Government guarantee an offer of help to people aged between 18 and 24 who have been unemployed for between six and 12 months. This guaranteed help consists of an offer of a place on one of the programmes in the following menu: employment training; job interview guarantee; enterprise allowance; job club and, in future, employment action.
