To ask the Secretary of State for Employment whether, based on the reporting arrangements outlined in schedule A of the model training and enterprise council operating agreement, any of the TECs in England and Wales has used the Bank of Credit and Commerce International for banking or investment; and if he will make a statement.

I am not aware of any TEC using BCCI for banking at the time the bank's business was suspended.

To ask the Secretary of State for Employment whether any of the regional offices of the Training, Enterprise and Education Directorate consulted training and enterprise councils about banking with or investing in the Bank of Credit and Commerce International.

Regional offices do not provide TECs, which are private limited companies, with advice about banking or investment with any financial institution.
