To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment if he intends to revise Mineral Planning Guidance note No. 3; and if he will make a statement.
Mr. Yeo
The Government have no immediate plans to revise the guidelines in MPG3, but we are continuing to monitor their use. Officials will be discussing their effectiveness with representatives of the industry and the local authorities later in the year.
