To ask the Secretary of State for Wales when he intends to publish the final version of the statement of policy for the Countryside Council for Wales.

I have placed the final version of the statement of policy in the Libraries of both Houses and made copies available to those organisations who commented on the statement while in draft form. I am grateful for the useful comments received which have been carefully considered. The statement has also been discussed with the council. Copies of the council's management statement have also been placed in both Libraries.
