To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will place a copy of the full report of the ministerial review of his Ministry's regional organisation in the Library.

No such document exists, but I am placing in the House a note in the process by which the review was carried out. I hope that this will be helpful.

To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will list the numbers of staff in each of his regional and divisional offices that are to be made redundant in the regional reorganisation proposed in his answer to the hon. Member for Ipswich (Mr. Irvine) on 23 July, columns 455–56; and if he will make a statement.

It is projected that the regional reorganisation will result in a net loss of about 150 posts across the country as a whole. Where posts are to be lost every effort will be made to find staff alternative jobs. We shall be doing all we can to avoid compulsory redundancies.
