To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what action is being taken by his Department to ensure that the proposed Western European Union ground sector data management sector is based in the United Kingdom.

The UK is one of three countries to have bid for the location of the proposed WEU satellite centre. All three bids are currently under consideration and await the decision of WEU Ministers on 18 November.
