To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will publish the number of deaths in (a) Liverpool and (b) Merseyside caused by joyriders in each of the past five years; and if he will make a statement.

We will be bringing forward a Bill in the present Session to introduce a new offence of aggravated taking.
