Sentencing Appeals

To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland (1) how many appeals against sentence to the High Court of Justiciary there have been following conviction on indictment in each of the last 10 years for which information is available; and of these how many have been successful;(2) how many appeals against sentence to the High Court of Justiciary there have been following conviction on summary complaint in each of the last 10 years for which information is available; and of these how many have been successful;(3) how many appeals against conviction to the High Court of Justiciary there have been following conviction on indictment in each of the last 10 years for which information is available; and of these how many have been successful;(4) how many appeals against conviction to the High Court of Justiciary there have been following conviction on summary complaint in each of the last 10 years for which information is available; and of these how many have been successful.
