Lambs

Volume 198: debated on Wednesday 13 November 1991

The text on this page has been created from Hansard archive content, it may contain typographical errors.

To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will estimate the gross value of fat lamb sales by farmers at live markets and direct to abattoirs, respectively, in England in each year since 1979; and if he will make a statement.

The table is drawn from information produced from the administration of the sheep variable premium scheme and therefore includes only fat lambs certified under the scheme. This information is available only on a Great Britain basis and only for the period since 1981.
