To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry when he will next meet representatives of the Yorkshire and Humberside regional CBI to discuss industrial policy.

I have no plans at present to meet representatives of the Yorkshire and Humberside regional CBI, but officials of my Department keep in touch with them on a wide range of business matters. I met a large number of CBI representatives when I attended their national conference on 4 November 1991.
