To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland how many people have been convicted of scheduled offences since 1970; and what were their paramilitary affiliations at the time of conviction.

[holding 7 November 1991]: Statistics on convictions for scheduled offences were riot recorded prior to 1975. From that year until the end of September 1991, a total of 11,095 people were convicted of scheduled offences. Information on their paramilitary affiliations is not available.
